author not exactly as shownWhen your blog has been around for a while you start to attract all types of comment spam most of which links to sites offering Viagra.  I am always fascinated by the “clever” attempts on the part of the spammers to appear like legitimate comments except that they mostly bizarre. 


The comment spammers are attempting to link to Sparkplug to increase their search engine rankings.  The more blogs they are connected to the higher their ranking, or so the theory goes.  Here at Sparkplug we believe in protecting you are loyal and faithful readers from the denizens of the spamoplex. 


However, in the interest of fairness to all those hardworking comment spammers I present a sampling of their messages to me. 


I have not edited them in any way and they appear exactly as I received them.  I have, of course, removed any links to their sites.   Their comments are intriguing, sometimes confusing and quite often bizarre.  They also, quite often, have a puzzling symmetry.
