The Big Circus on DVD update…

Walking across Niagara Falls in The Big CircusIt’s been over a year now since I set out on my quest to my all time favourite guilty pleasure - The Big Circus- released on DVD. 

While we have had no success yet I have had a number of fans of the film contact me here and through our Facebook Group expressing their support for our cause. 

I have forwarded notes to Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama and John McCain asking whether they support the release of this fine classic film.  Strangely, none has responded yet. 

Now, if I can just get Stephen Colbert interested.

Video Watchdog magazineA friend of mine pointed me in the direction of Tim Lucas’s excellent Video Watchblog and as I was leafing through the archives I discovered that Tim had written a short piece about The Big Circus . 

Tim Lucas also publishes an excellent magazine - Video Watchdog which has been a favourite of mine for years.   

Anyway, Warners has a huge library of classic titles and they released four sets of Cult Classics last year so there is hope that we may get to spend a day at the Big Circus yet.

    I THINK THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES!
    GILBERT ROLAND WALKING ACROSS THE FALLS IS A CLASSIC.
    WE NEED THIS ON DVD

    Thanks Dennis, I would suggest that you e mail Warner Home Video because they seem to have the rights. Remember, every e mail sent has power.

    Hopefully, we will see The Big Circus on DVD soon.

    Have been looking for “THE BIG CIRCUS” to come to DVD for years now, way over due. Warner let’s get this out on DVD.
